What is non-surgical rhinoplasty?
Sometimes called a liquid nose job or filler rhinoplasty, this treatment adds small volumes of hyaluronic acid filler to reshape the nose. Because it only adds, it works best where the issue is a lack of height or an irregular line — a flat bridge, a dip above a hump, a shallow root between the eyes.
It is a useful way to preview a higher bridge before deciding on surgical rhinoplasty. It is also used alongside other face treatments, though filler in the nose needs more caution than almost anywhere else.
Who is a good candidate for filler rhinoplasty?
- A low or flat bridge that you would like slightly higher.
- A small dorsal bump that can be blended by filling above and below it.
- A shallow nasal root between the eyes.
- No previous nose surgery or a surgeon's agreement if you have had one.
- Wanting a reversible trial before considering an operation.
It is not suitable for reducing size, narrowing a wide nose or lifting a heavy, droopy tip; those need surgical reduction or tip work. Noses with implants or heavy scarring carry higher risk with filler.

What happens after treatment?
| Same day | Mild redness or tenderness; avoid pressing or massaging the nose. |
|---|---|
| Day 1–3 | Any swelling settles; avoid heavy glasses, saunas and hard exercise. |
| Week 2 | Review if needed; a small top-up can refine the line. |
| Month 9–18 | Filler gradually softens and is absorbed. |
“I use less filler in the nose than people expect. A little in the right plane looks natural — and keeps the treatment safe.”
Dr. Lee Yoo-jung · Chief DirectorIs nose filler safe? The risks
Nose filler carries a rare but serious risk: filler entering or pressing on a blood vessel, which can damage skin and, very rarely, affect vision. Pain, blanching or dusky skin during or after injection needs urgent treatment with a dissolving enzyme.
Other possible effects are bruising, lumps, filler spreading so the bridge looks wide, and a blue tinge if filler sits too shallow. We use conservative volumes, deep placement and keep hyaluronidase on hand at every session.
Frequently asked questions
How long does non-surgical rhinoplasty last?
Usually 9–18 months, depending on the filler and your metabolism.
Can it make my nose smaller?
No. Filler only adds volume, though blending a hump can make the profile look more refined.
Can the filler be removed?
Yes, hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if you are unhappy or if a problem arises.
Does it hurt?
Most patients feel only mild pressure thanks to numbing cream and lidocaine in the filler.
Can I have it if I have had nose surgery?
Sometimes, but risk is higher in operated noses, so Dr. Lee assesses this carefully first.
Who does the injection?
Dr. Lee Yoo-jung performs nose filler herself.
