What is Juvelook and how does it work?
Juvelook belongs to the group of collagen stimulators, sometimes called biostimulators. Its active ingredient is PDLLA, a biodegradable polymer used in medicine for decades, mixed with hyaluronic acid to make it smooth to inject. Once in the skin, the hyaluronic acid gives brief hydration while the microspheres prompt fibroblasts to lay down new collagen.
Because the change comes from your own collagen, results build slowly and look natural. Juvelook is often paired with Rejuran for repair, or delivered across the whole face with the DoubleTite injection device for an even finish. Current package prices are on our Juvelook cost page.
Who is a good candidate for Juvelook?

Expect temporary bumps, redness and occasional bruising. Because Juvelook contains a collagen stimulator, injecting too much in one spot or too superficially can lead to small, firm nodules, so we use even, shallow-but-not-surface placement and conservative amounts. Infection and allergic reactions are rare. Results vary with age, skin type and lifestyle, and scars usually improve rather than disappear.
Frequently asked questions
How many Juvelook sessions do I need?
Most patients have two or three sessions about four weeks apart. If you are visiting Seoul once, a single session still helps, combined with another booster.
When will I see results?
There is some immediate hydration, but the main collagen effect appears from about six weeks and continues to build for up to three months.
Does Juvelook add volume?
Not noticeably. It thickens and firms the skin rather than changing facial shape.
Is Juvelook the same as Sculptra?
Both stimulate collagen, but Juvelook uses smaller PDLLA particles mixed with hyaluronic acid and is mainly used for skin quality rather than volume.
