What is a non-surgical jawline lift?
A crisp jawline depends on three things: firm tissue over the bone, little excess fat beneath it, and enough bony projection at the chin and angle. With age the tissue loosens and jowls form, fat collects under the jaw, and the chin can look weaker. A non-surgical jawline lift addresses whichever of these is the main problem.
Tightening comes from Ultherapy or Thermage; fat reduction from DoubleTite; structure from jawline contouring filler. Most patients need two of the three.
Who is a good candidate?
- Mild jowls that are visible when you look down.
- A jaw edge that has started to blur in photographs.
- Some fullness under the chin with reasonable skin tone.
- A slightly short or retruded chin that weakens the profile.
- People who are not ready for surgery or want to delay it.
Heavy jowls and loose neck skin respond better to a jowl lift or neck lift; Dr. Lee will say so at consultation.

| Month 12 | Maintenance session for the tightening part. |
“Jowls are rarely one problem. I look for the two that matter most for your face and treat those.”
Dr. Lee Yoo-jung · Chief DirectorRisks and limits
Common effects are tenderness, swelling and bruising. Less common are temporary numbness along the jaw, irregular contour or, with filler, lumps and very rarely vascular problems. Non-surgical treatment cannot remove loose skin, so the improvement is real but modest.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get a sharper jawline without surgery?
Yes, if laxity is mild. Tightening, fat reduction and filler can noticeably define the jaw edge.
How long does a non-surgical jawline lift last?
Tightening lasts about a year, filler on the jaw 12–18 months, and fat reduction longer if your weight is stable.
Is it suitable for men?
Yes. The plan is adjusted to keep a squarer, more masculine angle.
Can everything be done in one visit?
Usually yes, which suits patients travelling to Seoul for a short stay.
When is surgery the better choice?
When jowls hang below the jaw line or the neck skin is loose. A device cannot lift those enough.
Who performs the treatment?
Dr. Lee Yoo-jung plans it and performs the injections herself.
